In her Instagram update, Shilpa said, “COVID POSITIVE!!! #day4,” highlighting that she was on day four of her diagnosis. She also said, “Stay safe, everyone, please get vaccinated and follow all the rules, your government knows what’s best for you. Lots of love.

After her announcement, Shilpa received a flood of support from fans and fellow celebrities. Actress Sonakshi Sinha and Shilpa’s sister, Namrata Shirodkar, were two of the many who wished her well and a speedy recovery.
